Maybe try one version higher than the one which comes with Jasper. Email Required, but never shown. Thanks to effingen and having made changes to plugin as advised I was able to compile reports with Java 8. I wouldn’t like to implement my own JRCompiler. Or did you just downloaded Jasper and included it in your lib directly? Run mvn -P build-individual-bundles package from eclipse. We are using Maven.

Doesn’t seem like any combination works. It was made in our main pom. I can’t compile tempaltes with JRJdtCompiler because jdtcore: I am jdtcore-3.1.0.jar Debian Linux user with Maven 3.

We are using Maven. Posted on October 28, at jdtcore-3.1.0.jar It is indirectly referenced from required. CharSequence cannot be resolved. It seems that you include Jasper library differently than I do. This is the only change I did.
In my case Maven is doing all dependency resolving, and jdtcore-3.1.0.jar is why I jdtcore-3.1.0.jar to have pom. Until now we have simply been using 2 jar files among all of our other jars in a lib jdtcore-31.0.jar. I tried jdtcore-3.1.0.jar update of eclipse jdt lirbary and it seems to be working.
